We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse Skills Validation Specialist.


Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Education and Training you will be solely responsible for conducting skills validation and competencies for nursing candidates seeking employment at Care Options For Kids.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assesses and confirms the skills of nursing candidates for agency.
· Write detailed evaluation of nurse candidates.
· Remain current in current nursing skills and practice laws in the home care setting.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.

Education and Experience:
· Be a registered nurse (RN) and a qualified licensed professional.
· Have at least five years of nursing experience.
· Tracheostomy and ventilator experience preferred.
· Have at least one year of pediatric nursing experience &/or home health.
· Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Special Requirements:
· A valid registered nursing (RN) license is required, nurse compact license preferred.
· Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
· Must have excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
· This position requires extensive sitting.
· Ability to regularly sit, stand, bend, walk, reach, and lift with hands and arms.
· Must be comfortable with teaching over camera in virtual platform.

Annual Salary Range:
  • $75,000.00 annually
