We are seeking experienced and passionate Associate Director, Business Operationsthat can wear many hats, assist in coordinating and management of home health services, and has a desire to help children and families live their best lives.
Position Types Available: Full-Time, In Office-Hybrid
RN Associate Director, Business Operations responsibilities include:
- Create and implement operational plans and strategy with clear goals and action plan.
- Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of operational efforts through process analysis.
- Grow the assigned area in client census, service hours, revenue and geographical territory.
- In conjunction with the Director of Business Development, establish relationships with local children’s hospitals and their case management/discharge planning departments to become a referral partner for patients needing services.
- Meet with potential clients and sell the benefits of our services, our core values and how COFK is different in the care we provide.
- Create and implement a recruiting plan for caregivers in conjunction with assigned Recruiter including leveraging local nursing schools/programs.
- Collaborate with corporate teams to ensure timely submission of clinical and administrative documents to onboard and maintain clinical staff and patients.
- Ensure any authorizations for service are current and adhered to mitigate future barriers in conjunction with billing team.
- Ensure accurate Protected Health Information (PHI) remains confidential and is accurately entered in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Proactively identifies areas of opportunity by working collaboratively and professionally with the leadership team.
- Collaborate with Agency Administrator and Director, Clinical Services to ensure compliance with home health regulations, national, state and payer requirements.
- Mentors staff to improve engagement and commitment to strategy, mission and company goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health care administration, or related field, or a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience, preferred.
- Ability to think independently with outcome.
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Ability to organize and facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be able to solve complex problems and work effectively under time pressure and/or deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others, and maintain commitment and enthusiasm to achieve goals
- Ability to identify and evaluate personal strengths and weaknesses
- Customer-service oriented
- Working knowledge of, or proficiency in, Microsoft office applications, electronic medical records, and quick-to-learn proprietary software package
- The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
